• 1/2 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk (+ more as needed)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Seeds & fruit to taste


  • Add the quinoa, oats, almond milk, water, and cinnamon into a small pot.

  • Stir together and bring the liquid to a boil.

  • Reduce to low and simmer until the oats are soft and most of the liquid has been absorbed.

  • Remove the porridge from the heat and stir in the honey, seeds and top with fruit, if using (sliced banana, peaches and berries work well). We added chia, pumpkin and sesame seeds for extra crunch and flavour.
